Our first Christmas together was full of fun and excitement. Kristian and I spent Christmas Eve with my family at my grandma's Sallee annual party. It was a blast-I loved sharing this favorite tradition of mine with him. Christmas is my Aunt Chris's bday and my grandma ALWAYS gets her a cake. But this year there was so much going on she forgot to get a cake. So Kristian and I spent 2 hours at Dippidee's decorating a cake for my Aunt. It was different but a lot of fun. Christmas morning was crazy but we enjoyed ever minute of it. We picked up the kids in the morning, we went to Jenny's for breakfast, next to my mom's to do gift exchange, finally back to the apartment to see what Santa left for us there. It was sooo much fun-here are some pictures of our day together.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Love to all!!!

ENGAGED!!!

Kristian and I (before he asked)
Us enjoying the carriage ride

Kristian asking the question

Me saying YES!

Wow it finally happened! After months of dating I finally tricked Kristian into asking me to marry him. I know I know many of you are thinking POOR GUY! But hey-lets be honest....I have waited for many years to have my turn. On Monday December 21, 2009 I had a date with the man I am totally in love with. He took me up to Temple Square to look at the light at the temple. He had booked us a ride in a horse and carriage. The driver Jason was super nice and he took a picture of us. After he took a picture he gave the camera back to me. I looked at the picture and thought it was cute. Kristian wanted the driver to take another picture. He stood up to give him the camera. I was looking at the temple and turned to smile for the camera when I notice Kristian wasn't sitting next to me, he was kneeling! He then pulled out a small white box, he flipped open the box-it was the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have ever seen!!! He then expressed his love for me and asked me to marry him!! I said YES YES YES!!! The driver snapped a few different shots. It was a perfect moment, one that I have dreamed of since I was a small girl! I was super excited! He picked out the ring all alone and did such a great job. It has 3 stones, the center stone is a champagne colored diamond, and on each side is a white diamond. (tired to take a picture it didn't work-if you want to see it let me know!)
I love it! Its a night I will never forget!!!! I was so excited while I was on the carriage, when we came to a cross walk and there were people I would yell I AM GETTING MARRIED! It was so great! No date yet but check back for an update!

Yummy mousse cups
So every year at Christmas time my girl friends and I get together for a yummy dinner, fun gifts and lots of laughs. We always take turns for hosting the party at different houses. Well this year it was my turn! I was excited-finally I had someone I wanted to bring to the party to meet everyone! But things didn't turn out that way-every ones husband bailed. Bless Kristian, he was so great he still came and he was a big help! Not only that but he was exposed to all my high school secrets.
(AND HE STILL LOVES ME!!)
It was a BLAST! I can't wait until next year! (Sorry Trisha and Andrea that you missed it)

Princess's on Ice

What a fun way to spend a cold, snowy Saturday! We has tickets to go see all of our favorite princess's on ice and the Energy Solution Center. Nicole, Lily, Haylie, Addie, Hannah, Becky, Emily, My Mom and I all went. We drove to 72oo S. and then jumped on tracks, the girls loved to ride the train. Because of the weather, they just wore warm clothes then after we ate and got into the ESC we put them in there dresses. I was so fun! All the girls were so excited to see Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Jasmin, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Ariel and of course Cinderella! Mickey and Minnie Mouse were there too! At one point during the show Emily leaned over and said "THIS IS SO MAGICAL!" That was a magical moment for me! I love my girls!!!

My Prince.....

Ok so some of you have been asking a lot of questions about what is going on in my life. So here it is......besides work and school I am focusing on something else-maybe I should say someone else. Kristian-we have been seeing each again and are really are having a lot of fun! Alot has changed since we broke up....Kristian is now working at Quality Appliances, he moved to Pleasant Grove, and he shaved his goatee (Its back now). We have been trying to really get to know each other and strengthening our relationship. Who really knows what will happen but a girl can only hope!

My Date

Well I am not sure how I was so lucky to land a hot date on a Tuesday night but I sure did! And it was a blast!! We went bowling and had dinner. His name is Daniel and he is one of my 11 year old nephew. He was going to be alone tonight so we decide to go hang out! It has been way too long since just the two of us did something. A few things about Daniel that I think is pretty cool is......
*He can't wait for Thanksgiving-Turkey, real mashed potatoes, homemade rolls and Oreo pie.
*His favorite thing at Christmas (besides presents) is Grandma's Sallee's Christmas Eve party,
*He CAN'T wait to be an Uncle! (And he will be a GREAT ONE too)
*Bowling is not his best sport, but football and basketball are his favorite.
*Science is his favorite subject, and he loves cheesecake shake!

I am not sure how I got so lucky to be blessed with the best nieces and nephews!
Thanks Daniel-Love Ya!

So anyone who knows me knows that one of my passions in life is SHOPPING! I just love it-even if I don't have money to buy anything. Just being in the mall is so much fun for me! On Halloween day, Danaca and I went shopping! She is by far my favorite shopping partner! She has a great taste in fashion and is willing to tell me when I look Great and well when I don't!!! She is also so very willing to share things with me, like at Bath and Body when the lick sticks were buy 2 and get 1 free. I didn't need 3 new lip sticks, and at Torrid when I needed to spend a few more bucks to get that extra discount, she was so Happy to pick out some cool earnings! I know she is awesome and has a tough job-but honestly I am happy that she does it! Thanks DANACA! Your the Best!

Fall Favorites!

I can't believe that fall has come and now its almost gone! This week we had the first snow fall and it made me think of what I have done in the season of fall. So here are a favorite of my favorite things.......
*The Witches Festival and Gardner Village-we enjoyed walking around finding all the different witches, eating a yummy cookie, the girls rode ponies and the boys went in the corn maze. It was a BLAST!!!
*Our Annual Worthen Family Halloween Party-We all wore costumes, ate delicious food, wrote letters to Quinton (who is in basic), played pumpkin bowling, pin the wart on the witch, a fish pond and decorated spooky cookies!
*The night before Halloween I chilled out with Lily and Paisley, (i love those girls! They make me laugh so hard). Lily loves cupcakes as much as I do-so I gave her a MONSTER cupcake from Dippidee! She loved it!!!
*My favorite Quote for the season comes from my sister-in-law Nicole..."I love Old Candy!" The funny thing is she does! "You know when a tootsie roll is a little older and it was a thin hard layer. HMMM!" Oh good times!!
I am sure there will be more to come on Halloween. I hope your fall season was as funny and enjoyable as mine!
